The late Chuck Perry was a play-maker and rainmaker for BGSU. He was a member of the football team for four years, and after graduation, served as an admissions counselor, director of admissions and assistant to the president. He was also the first director of development at BGSU. Perry was involved in fundraising for the Falcons, helping establish the Falcon Club and the University Athletic Endowment. After working at BGSU, he spent one year as special assistant for education under the direction of Florida Gov. Claude Kirk Jr. He was later the president and publisher of “Family Weekly Magazine.”
